USC Futbol Academy camps on July 17-20
Posted by: | CommentsGreat Discount for USC Alumni!
The SC Futbol Academy camps have been announced for this summer by P.J. Woolridge , Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at University of Southern California. The first of the camps is July 17-20 for kids in grades 3-8. The second is July 24-27 and is for high school and junior college student/athletes. Both camps are open to residential and commuter campers.

USC Women's Soccer 2007 National Champions
There is a great alumni discount available for these camps. The age appropriate camp is designed to have a positive effect on each individual in their specific learning environment as well as help players reach the next level. SC Futbol Academy provides top-level training to its campers and is run solely by the USC Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff and Players. Each camper will have the opportunity to learn from top-notch coaches and athletes and will walk away with a new perspective and understanding of the game.
Each day will consist of technical and tactical training, for both field players and goalkeepers, which will lead to full sided games in the evening. Daily coaching topics range from defending, to individual skill to possession. There will be 1-2 training sessions per day, small-sided games and full field games as well.
This is a great opportunity for each camper to grow as a soccer player, gain invaluable knowledge of the game and build relationships with coaches, players and fellow campers. Campers will train at McAlister field (home of the Trojan Soccer Team), stay at the college residential dorms and eat at the college cafeteria.
