GERARD J. TELLIS, Ph.D. is the director of the Center for Global Innovation, the Neely Chair of American Enterprise and a professor of marketing at the USC Marshall School of Business. Dr. Tellis is an expert in innovation who has published four books and over 100 articles. His research has received 15 awards, including the Bass, Odell, Maynard (twice), and Vijay Mahajan award for lifetime contributions to marketing strategy. Professor Tellis is an associate editor of the Journal of Marketing Research and previously served on the editorial board of the Journal of Marketing and Marketing Science. He is a trustee of the Marketing Science Institute, a distinguished professor at Erasmus University and a senior research associate at Cambridge University. At USC, he directs the Center for Global Innovation. Dr. Tellis will discuss all aspects of innovation, from global strategy and market entry to new product growth, advertising, promotion and pricing.

2nd Annual USC Troy Camp Gala announcement

Troy Camp, the official philanthropy of the University of Southern California, is a student run mentorship program that connects undergraduate students from USC with low-income children from the local community by way of a weeklong summer camp and a year-long tutoring program.
Recently, we have been reaching out to organizations with similar service-minded values to get the word out about USC Troy Camp. Our goal is to build relationships with organizations such as the South Orange County Alumni Club to jointly help children in the LA area. We invite your membership to our 2nd Annual USC Troy Camp Gala.

USC Alumni Club of South Orange County Open Meeting on Mar 10, 2010

The primary purpose of the club is to provide stimulating, enriching and exciting alumni activities to keep members of the Trojan Family connected to USC, lifelong and worldwide. Through programs running the gamut from cultural events to career networking forums to social mixers, the USC Alumni Club of South Orange County offers a wealth of opportunities to recharge your Trojan Spirit!

USC Baseball Alumni Association Golf Tournament April 12, 2010
Posted by: | CommentsThe Trojan Baseball Alumni Association will sponsor a golf tournament to benefit the Trojan baseball program and will take place on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Shadowridge County Club, Vista, CA. The Trojan Clubs of San Diego and Orange County will team up with the Baseball Alumni Association to make this a very special event for Trojan Baseball. Shadowridge CC is one of the premier Country Clubs in North San Diego County, located about 35 miles north of the City of San Diego.
Some of the Trojan baseball celebrities we expect to join us for this tournament include Don Buford, Ron Fairly, Fred Lynn, Bret Boone, Steve Kemp, Hank Workman, and special guest, MLB Hall of Famer, Frank Robinson. Chad Kreuter, Head Coach and assistant coaches Doyle Wilson, Tom House and Frank Cruz will join us for this event.

Get the holiday spirit as we meet together for a social hour, delicious luncheon buffet, music, and a great speaker. The speaker is Bill Block who wrote the book, Trojans 1972: An Immortal Team of Mortal Men .
Bill’s book captures the story of 47- USC football players, beyond their glory days on campus and into their everyday lives as men. The 1972 Trojans are considered one of the greatest teams in the history of college football. They defeated Ohio State 42-17 in the 1973 Rose Bowl to complete an undefeated 12-0 season and were crowned national champions. www.immortalteam.com
