USC Women’s Golf Wins Pac-10 Championship

Congratulations to the Women of Troy!

The USC Women’s Golf Team captured the Pac-10 Crown and USC freshman Sophia Popov, claimed the individual Pac-10 title in sudden death playoff.

Despite losing one of its top players to injury before the start of the final round, the USC women’s golf team played with four players and rallied through some tough stretches to win the 2011 Pac-10 Women’s Golf Championships at Karsten Golf Course. Click here to read more.

USC Baseball Alumni Association Golf Tournament April 12, 2010

The Trojan Baseball Alumni Association will sponsor a golf tournament to benefit the Trojan baseball program and will take place on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Shadowridge County Club, Vista, CA. The Trojan Clubs of San Diego and Orange County will team up with the Baseball Alumni Association to make this a very special event for Trojan Baseball. Shadowridge CC is one of the premier Country Clubs in North San Diego County, located about 35 miles north of the City of San Diego.

Some of the Trojan baseball celebrities we expect to join us for this tournament include Don Buford, Ron Fairly, Fred Lynn, Bret Boone, Steve Kemp, Hank Workman, and special guest, MLB Hall of Famer, Frank Robinson. Chad Kreuter, Head Coach and assistant coaches Doyle Wilson, Tom House and Frank Cruz will join us for this event.

Here’s a summary of the main details of the tournament:

Registration:	9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
Shotgun Start:	11:30 a.m. (4 person Scramble) / Box Lunch
Reception:	After golf, no-host cocktail party
Dinner:	5:00 p.m.
After Dinner Program:	6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. *(Guest Speaker Jim Flick)
Total Golf-Dinner Package Price:	$175.00
Dinner Only Price:	$50.00

The After Dinner Program includes guest speaker, Jim Flick, long time teacher and coach to professional golfers including, I. K. Kim, Tom Lehman, Jack Nicklaus and numerous others.
